What runs on this site today
As of September 5, 2026, the public pages of Playfield Atlas carry no commercial content of any kind.
- No advertising is installed. No ad network script runs on the public pages.
- No guide, hub or diagram has been sponsored, commissioned or paid for by a third party.
- There are no affiliate links. No link on this site earns a commission when you follow it or buy something at the other end.
- No manufacturer, court builder, contractor or equipment supplier has paid for a mention, a link or a position in a list.
- No coverage is given in exchange for free products, access or hospitality.
The rules if that changes
A reference site can be funded by advertising without becoming untrustworthy, but only if the boundary is drawn before the money arrives rather than after. The table below is that boundary. If any of it starts, this page is updated first, and the rule in the third column applies from the first day.

No advertiser, sponsor or affiliate partner is given influence over a measurement, a source, a diagram or a recommendation on this site.
Why it matters on a site like this one
Everything here reduces to a number you can act on. A service line at a stated distance from the net. A run-off you have to leave behind a baseline. A rim height. People use those figures to mark a surface, to check a court before a match, to size a piece of ground before they commit to it.
A dimension bent to suit a sponsor would look exactly like a correct one. Nobody could tell from the page. The error would only surface later, on the ground, after the paint or the concrete. That is why the separation here is absolute rather than a matter of degree: there is no version of a paid measurement that is acceptable, and no advertiser is worth the price of one wrong figure.
The same applies to the diagrams. Each one is drawn in-house as SVG from the published rules, never copied from federation artwork, and never adjusted to flatter a product.
Manufacturers and court builders
Equipment makers, surface manufacturers and court builders are named only where a rule or a measurement makes it necessary. Editorial placement is never given in exchange for payment. There is no sponsored directory, no recommended supplier page and no paid listing, and none will be added under another name.
